Fletcher Aluminium has an Environmental Management System (EMS) certified to international standard ISO AS/NZS 14001. This effectively enables us to anticipate, identify and manage our interaction with the environment.
Areas of operation that could potentially harm the environment are identified and impacts assessed, resulting in the establishment of targets and objectives to control these activities. The effectiveness of these measures is continually reviewed, and new activities are regularly identified and appraised.
An ongoing audit process of the EMS which includes senior management review of the performance and effectiveness of the programmes in place ensure continual improvement.

a Life Cycle Assessment
This is a fair, holistic assessment of raw material production, manufacture, distribution, use and disposal including all intervening transportation steps necessary or caused by the manufacture and distribution of Fletcher Aluminium’s products and services. The Life Cycle Assessment data allows us to continuously optimise our environmental performance.
